Medical mission team at highest peak in region


MALAPATAN, Sarangani (October 28, 2012) – Dr. Roel Cagape (5th from left) and his team of volunteers composed of rescuers from Malapatan-LGU, Dominican priest Fr. Joemar Sibug (6th from left) who conducted the blessing rites for the health centers, Indigenous People's Development Program worker Shalom Somblingo (7th from left) and Sarangani Information Office personnel pose for a souvenir photo upon reaching the highest mountainous peak in the region after three hours of climbing 45-degree to 50-degree slopes from sitio Kikong. The team was on its way to sitio Ulo Fitam to inaugurate another of Dr. Cagape's "E-Text si Doc Health Center” on Wednesday, October 24. Ulo Fitam means "head of the black water” in Blaan.
